2022 Algoma Paddlers Virtual AGM

If you cannot make it, share your thoughts and ideas on how the Algoma Paddlers can help your paddling experiences. You can also find out what is happening in Ontario's paddling world through the ORCKA website (www.orcka.ca)...a not-for-profit organization responsible for promotion of safe, competent and knowledgeable recreational paddling. The Algoma Paddlers is a proud member of this organization.

Algoma Paddlers is supporting & joining in a fun Thessalon  Poker run via canoe/kayak on the Thessalon River starting at Peace Park at 10:30, Saturday June 25th with alternate rain day of Saturday, June 26th.  BBQ thereafter. $10.00/person. Meeting & starting location: Boom Camp Boat Launch Type of Boat: canoe or kayak  Trip Information: Paddle through Mississagi River Delta area.  Level of Difficulty: lake and moving river travel with possibility of wind and waves.   Trip Leader/Contact: Marc Bradford giffmsb@gmail.com

  Mississagi River  Day Trip Meeting Location: Tim Horton’s Blind River 9:00 am  Start Location: Rapid River off Hwy 129  Type of Boat: canoe or kayak  Trip Information: travel down river to Lafoe Creek. A detailed course description can be found on ORKCA website under ‘Program Overview’. Wanted: The Algoma Paddlers owns 2 Voyageur canoes and is seeking a Voyageur canoe director.
